Estefanía Rívera Cortés started studying visual art at a very young age at the Central High School of Visual Arts where she formed an all-female muralist collective called Colectivo Moriviví. She became interested in socially engaged art through the experience of working in public spaces as a collective within communities such as churches, schools, and busy streets. Now she continues her studies at the University of Puerto Rico with an interdisciplinary approach to art.
