Summer Dreaming by Omar Sebastián Gutierrez
Summer Dreaming by Omar Sebastián Gutierrez
Oil and fabric on wood. 16x20 inches. Original Work.
From Gurabo, Puerto Rico. His work is mostly presented in an illustrative/portrait manner. Visually, he says his work is better when it's interactive and the end result is a bit glamorous, a bit comical, and very disturbing. Sebastián is influenced by old glamour photography, the gender-normative customs from the 1960s, interior design, and old politically active caricatures.
