This work was presented as part of Colectivo 2026, a collective exhibition curated by MAL (Muestra de Arte Local) and held at El Local Gallery on December 4, 2025.

Osto (b. 1990) was raised between Cupey, Hato Rey, and Caguas, Puerto Rico. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and has worked across disciplines as a freelance graphic designer, industrial designer, storyboard artist, interior designer, and tattoo artist.

His practice searches for dignidad insurrecta within Puerto Rican history and popular culture, highlighting moments of resistance and identity affirmation. Working across multiple mediums and formats, Osto projects a militant, proud, and fearless Puerto Ricanness rooted in collective memory and cultural persistence.
